I had a baby shower for a friend a couple of weeks ago and we had some pretty yummy food that some people were wanting the recipes for. My mom gave me the recipes and I'm not sure where she got them (from her church cookbook I think)... anyway, they are yummy... enjoy!!!
Sausage Cheese Casserole
1 pack of crescent rolls
1 lb sausage (hot & spicy)
2 cups mozzerella cheese
2 cups cheddar cheese
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper
Cook sausage and drain. Line bottom of pan with crescent rolls. Mix together all ingredients and pour over crescent rolls. Bake for 30 minutes at 375.
However, we doubled this for the shower so it was extra cheesy!!!
Cheese Grits Casserole
Cook grits for 5 minutes
1 cup grits
1 tsp salt
4 cups boiling water
Stir into cooked grits:
1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs (well beaten)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Stir until all ingredients are well mixed together and cheese is melted completed.
Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
Cook for 1 hour at 350.
Hope you enjoy!!! These will be good during the holidays because they can be fixed the night before and just heated up the next morning.
2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." This is my place in the world to share my heart and soul and to be reminded that I am here, only by God's grace. Something I don't deserve but am given freely, because of God's love for me.
